Advertising by e-mail without the recipient's prior express consent is always an unreasonable nuisance in Germany — for business recipients too. That is why we prepare e-mails only for leads with consent on record, and why we never cold-e-mail anyone ourselves.

UWG § 7 (3) no. 1 (the existing-customer exception)

The exception needs an address obtained in connection with a sale. A stand visitor has usually bought nothing, so the tool does not rely on it.
